The Barton Short-Stop Filter effectively prevents in-line contaminants from damaging orifice assemblies by blocking debris from the most common sources within any high-pressure waterjet system. Our Short-Stop Filter is a simple and effective solution to protect your orifice investment and prevent unnecessary downtime.

Barton Short-Stop Filters and Adapters allow for ease of installation in any waterjet system’s 1/4” or 3/8” high pressure lines. The Short-Stop Filter is installed as close to the waterjet orifice assembly as possible, with the most common location being in the HP fitting at the on/off valve assembly. 

This type of filter is sometimes referred to as a cone filter, diamond guard filter, last chance filter, thimble filter, or witch hat filter.
